1972年生まれ。広島出身
1988年 広島観音高校在学中、米国イリノイ州シカゴへ渡米
1995年 イースタンミシガン大学 ファインアート科、仏語科卒業
1995年 New York Cityに移住
1997年 パーソンズ スクールオブデサイン イラストレーション科卒業
1997～2001年 テキスタイルデザイン会社(Tom Cody Design, New York City)に勤務
Baby Gap, Pottery Barns, Talbot'sなどでデザインを手掛ける。
2001年～現在 MB Artists( New York) 所属
2001年 初の絵本 Lucky Pennies and Hot Chocolate( DUTTON社)
出版。以降、数多くの絵本を出版。
※現在Lucky Pennies and Hot Chocolate(2001)は「しあわせコインとあつあつココア」（2007）として、The Garden That We Grew(2001)は「はたけしごとにとりかかろう」(2006) として、児童図書館・絵本の部屋より和約出版
